The home-buying bidding wars are back.One prospective buyer had 10 competitors for a condo in San Jose's Willow Glen neighborhood priced at $489,000. He offered $530,000 but didn't get the home.
Another house-hunter made one of nine offers for an Almaden Valley house listed at $879,000. He bid $930,000, but the seller took another offer for the San Jose home. from Marcury News
シリコンバレーの住宅価格が上昇している。当然のことではあるが、価格を上げても買い手がいるのである。
シリコンバレーは米国において高所得者層が多くすんでいる地域であり、2000年のドットコムバブルバブル崩壊後、景気が上向きに転じている最たる例であろう。日経平均も安定してじわじわ上昇しており、これに伴い IT 業界も上向きの景気となってきている。今後、日本の地価にも上昇しそうな様相を呈している。
